Skrillex will headline the closing day of the Sziget Festival in 2026, organizers have announced. The American DJ and producer is set to perform on 15 August, bringing one of Europe’s largest music events to a high-energy finale.
The festival will take place between 11–15 August in Budapest, with organizers already confirming a strong line-up of international acts. Among the previously announced headliners are Zara Larsson, Sombr, Twenty One Pilots, Lewis Capaldi, Florence + the Machine, Skepta, Bring Me The Horizon and Jorja Smith.
Known offstage as Sonny John Moore, Skrillex is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in electronic music. He played a key role in bringing dubstep into the mainstream, combining heavy bass sounds with high-energy live performances that helped redefine the genre.
Over the course of his career, Skrillex has won nine Grammy Awards and performed at major arenas and festivals around the world. His return to Sziget marks his third appearance at the event, having last performed there in 2024, when he drew a record-breaking crowd for the day.
The producer has released four studio albums to date and continues to experiment across genres. In January this year, he surprised fans with the release of an ambient EP titled Kora, showcasing a different, more atmospheric side of his music.
According to organizers, Skrillex will only play a limited number of European festival dates in 2026, making his appearance at Sziget one of the standout performances of the summer.
With one of its biggest names now confirmed, Sziget Festival continues to position itself as a major destination on the global festival circuit, drawing music fans from across Europe and beyond to Budapest each year.
