Hungarian schools have the chance to boost their digital teaching tools through the 4iG Foundation’s Digital Opportunity Programme, which invites applications until 30 September. As part of the initiative, the foundation will donate 220 high-performance, refurbished laptops optimized for digital education.
According to the foundation, the programme is designed to enhance classroom digital learning, support coding and programming clubs, and encourage student-led projects such as school radios or student government activities.
The laptops meet Windows 11 requirements, making them suitable replacements for older machines. In addition to receiving devices, successful applicant teachers will also take part in a 30-hour e-learning course focused on practical digital skills that can be immediately applied in the classroom.
Applications are open to educators from any institution with an official OM identifier, including music schools and special education institutions. No IT background is required, only a commitment to digital advancement.
The nationwide programme allows schools from all regions and settlement types to apply. Full details and application forms are available on the 4iG Foundation’s website.
