The Mathias Corvinus Collegium Foundation (MCC) and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen talent development and professional training in Hungary, the two organizations announced on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, MCC and HCCI will jointly develop innovative educational programmes that complement traditional public education. Through its extensive business network, the chamber will provide MCC students with opportunities to meet leading figures in the Hungarian economy, offer expert lecturers and mentors, and contribute to the foundation’s projects. MCC, in turn, will support students by providing practical experience and professional guidance.
The collaboration also includes the organization of joint lectures, panel discussions, research projects, and advisory programmes. MCC will make its research database available for shared use, while both institutions plan to support young professionals through scholarship programmes and social responsibility initiatives.
According to MCC President Zoltán Szalai, Hungary’s economic future depends on well-educated, responsible young people. He said that the partnership with HCCI would help future professionals develop both their skills and their sense of civic commitment.
President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elek Nagy emphasized the importance of knowledge communities built on collaboration and shared values. He added that strengthening these networks is more vital than ever to shape a forward-looking and resilient society.
