Sziget Festival 2024 Announces Liam Gallagher, Halsey, and Skrillex

This year’s Sziget Festival will take place from 7 to 12 August. Among the headliners announced on Wednesday is American singer Halsey, who has already received three Billboard Music Awards, an American Music Award, and has been nominated for a Grammy three times. The superstar is preparing for a new album release this year.

Among other prominent artists, Liam Gallagher, Halsey, Skrillex, Janelle Monáe, Raye, and Tom Odell are included in the list of nearly fifty newly announced performers at the Sziget Festival.

‘Liam Gallagher, former vocalist of Oasis, will perform the band’s debut album, the seminal Definitely Maybe, as part of a special tour commemorating its thirty-year anniversary,’ Tamás Kádár, the main organizer of the festival said.

This year’s Sziget Festival will take place from 7 to 12 August. Among the headliners announced on Wednesday is American singer Halsey, who has already received three Billboard Music Awards, an American Music Award, and has been nominated for a Grammy three times. The superstar is preparing for a new album release this year.

Also performing on the main stage will be one of the most popular figures in electronic music, Skrillex. The American producer and singer-songwriter has recently collaborated with artists such as Fred Again and Four Tet. Skrillex and Fred Again will perform consecutively on the last day of Sziget, followed by Four Tet on the Revolut Stage.

Also gracing the stage at this year’s Sziget is American artist Janelle Monáe. The prominent pop’n’soul singer released her latest album, The Age of Pleasure, last year, earning two Grammy nominations and a total of ten nominations for the prestigious music award to date. Her debut book, The Memory Librarian, was released in 2022 and debuted on The New York Times bestseller list, and she has also appeared in numerous films.

British singer-songwriter Raye will also be a headlining performer on the main stage. She made history at this year’s Brit Awards, breaking the record for the most nominations received by an artist in one year. Out of seven nominations she converted six into awards, surpassing the achievements of Adele, Harry Styles, and Blur.

Tom Odell will also appear on the Sziget stage. His song ‘Another Love’ has amassed approximately 2.3 billion streams on Spotify. Also performing on the main stage will be the Los Angeles-based rock band Lany, known for their billions of streams, arena-filling performances, and widespread critical acclaim, as well as Yves Tumor, known for blending rock, electronic, and psychedelic music in an experimental avant-garde style.

In addition to the main stage, the recent announcement for Sziget also includes performers for the Revolut Stage, the Bolt Party Arena, and the Colosseum. The lineup features artists such as Marc Rebillet, Anfisa Letyago, Apashe with Brass Orchestra, Archie Hamilton, Ari Abdul, Camo & Krooked b2b Luude, Charlie Sparks, Colyn, Dyen, Editors, Enrico Sangiuliano, Franc Moody, Goldband, Job Jobse, Kevin de Vries, KI/KI, Kiasmos, Lachesi, Len Faki, Loco Dice, LP Giobbi, Lucia Lu, Mannequin Pussy, MO, Modeselektor, Neil Frances, Nico Moreno, NTO, Rebüke, Sam Paganini, Sarah Story, Sven Väth, Teezo Touchdown, Tinlicker, Tkay Maidza, Venerus, Victoria, and Whipped Cream.

The organizers had previously announced performances by Fred Again, Sam Smith, Stormzy, Martin Garrix, Louis Tomlinson, and Big Thief for this year’s Sziget.
