The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) offers an incomparable career path as the flagship of Hungarian talent education, from the age of ten to the doctorate. MCC’s free programmes complement public and higher education to provide students with practice-oriented training that responds to the challenges of the 21st century. The application period is currently open for all three main programmes, including the internationally competitive University Programme.
Talent management starts at primary school age in the Young Talent Programme (FIT). Until the end of June, pupils in grade 4 can apply for MCC’s experiential pedagogy-based weekend courses, which provide practical skills. FIT aims to build skills and open-mindedness from an early age. For details, visit: fit.mcc.hu.
The programme continues at secondary school level through the High School Programme (KP), which offers support not only in preparing for final examinations and language proficiency tests, but also in laying the foundations for an academic career. Within the framework of the KP, students have the opportunity to participate in monthly consultations, lectures, and skills development workshops. Applications are open until the end of May. For details, visit: kp.mcc.hu.
The career arc is fulfilled through the University Programme (EP), which provides students with mentoring, scholarship opportunities abroad, and international quality training. Under the EP, MCC offers students dormitory support and, in some cities, rent assistance. The first level of the EP is the Junior Training Programme, for which applications are currently being accepted. Applications for Junior Training are open to students who are about to graduate from high school and who will start their higher education in September 2025 in Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs or Szeged and who wish to deepen their knowledge, mainly in social sciences, from the beginning of their university years. Deadline for applications for the Junior Training: 29 June 2025. Application and further details: ep.mcc.hu.
MCC’s programmes offer education, community, lifelong friendships, mentoring and an open-minded approach to the world—all free of charge. It offers training, education and talent management in 31 locations nationwide, with more than 7,800 students enrolled.
