The radical pro-Palestinian organization Palestine Action has called for attacks and recently published an online ‘target map’ containing the details and addresses of companies, suppliers, facilities, and in some cases private individuals connected directly or indirectly to Israel’s defence industry. Among the listed targets are several locations in Hungary, as highlighted by Neokohn.
The Hungarian targets are exclusively domestic facilities of the logistics company DSV. The company attracted the attention of the violent pro-Palestinian activist group because, according to them, DSV handles the European transportation of products manufactured by the Israeli defence company Elbit Systems.
One of the group’s spokespersons argued: ‘Elbit Systems are only able to transport their weapons because of ruthless, amoral companies like DSV, who play a key role in the genocide in Gaza, and assist in killing people throughout West Asia. By targeting them, we will disrupt the transport of Israeli weapons, and cost both Elbit and DSV money. It is not a matter of if DSV will drop Elbit, but when, because we will visit their sites again and again, until they stop facilitating genocide.’
The Hungarian locations include DSV logistics facilities and offices in and around Budapest, as well as several locations in the countryside. No damage incidents have yet been reported at these sites; however, being marked as a target is not without danger, considering the organization’s previous actions.
Alarming Track Record of Violent Actions
Founded in July 2020, Palestine Action was originally created to act against companies cooperating with Israeli arms manufacturers, especially targeting the British interests of Elbit Systems. In recent years, however, the organization’s activities have expanded to several countries, increasingly targeting companies, offices, and private individuals linked to Israel.
One notorious incident occurred in 2024, when six members of the organization broke into a British subsidiary of Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems. The intruders, dressed in red overalls and carrying red paint, smashed up the factory with hammers and later attacked police officers arriving at the scene. In one bodycam recording released by police, an intruder can be seen striking an officer in the back with a hammer while the officer was kneeling on the floor, breaking her lumbar spine.
On 5 July 2025, the British government officially designated Palestine Action as a terrorist organization after its activists broke into RAF Brize Norton airbase and damaged two military aircraft.
In recent months, the organization has mainly targeted DSV facilities, carrying out actions against the logistics company in several locations across the United States and Europe, including Germany, France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
During these attacks, buildings were sprayed with red paint and graffiti, windows were smashed, vehicles were vandalized, and trucks were rendered inoperable. According to the group, the aim of these actions was to disrupt Israel’s military supply chain and pressure DSV into cutting ties with Elbit Systems.
From Political Activism to Terrorism
The recently published ‘target map’ identifies not only companies and warehouses but, in some cases, private residences and personal information as well. In effect, the organization has compiled a target list of civilians and private businesses, many of which are only loosely connected to Elbit Systems. The targeted collection of such data goes beyond traditional political activism.
The target map is accompanied by an online handbook providing detailed advice to Palestine Action supporters on how to organize local actions. The ‘action handbook’ contains not only political messaging but also concrete methods, including guidance on forming small autonomous groups, conducting surveillance and reconnaissance, maintaining secrecy, and planning disruptive and destructive operations.
According to the author of the Neokohn, the organization’s structure and communication already strongly resemble the functioning of decentralized extremist movements and terrorist organizations.
