Pullman Hotels & Resorts, Accor’s premium international hotel brand, has announced the opening of its first hotel in Hungary in the building of the former Hard Rock Hotel Budapest, in Nagymező Street in the 6th district.

Located just minutes from Andrássy Avenue and the Opera House, the Pullman Budapest Hotel will open its doors on 27 March, offering 136 elegant and comfortable rooms on seven floors. In addition to fitness facilities, the hotel will also provide complimentary fitness equipment on request for guests who wish to exercise in their rooms or suites. Two meeting rooms will also be available for business travellers.

Pullman Budapest’s food, beverage, and entertainment concept is developed and implemented by Paris Society, a hospitality group acquired by Accor in 2022, which boasts an expanding portfolio of over 70 venues in the ultra-premium and luxury lifestyle categories, including restaurants, clubs, hotels, and event spaces. Paris Society’s bold Renaissance approach combines culinary art, architecture, and unique locations.

Guests can enjoy the culinary delights at the hotel’s restaurant, offering 70 indoor seats and a covered balcony with an additional 30 seats. Visitors to the Pullman Budapest Hotel can get a taste of the historical city centre from the 280-square-metre rooftop lounge, which offers exclusive signature cocktails, a diverse wine selection, and a variety of snacks with spectacular views.

Budapest is one of Europe’s most popular destinations, with the number of leisure and business travellers constantly increasing. This makes it a perfect location for our Pullman brand, which has a history of over 150 years and now attracts a new generation of digital nomads, millennial globetrotters, and business travellers,’ Dilek Sezer, Accor’s Southeast European Senior Development Director for Premium, Midscale & Economy Executive Committee, said according to the statement. ‘Pullman hotels are in line with today’s mobile world, combining performance and personal well-being: a positive, inspiring place where global nomads can feel their best,’ she added.

‘Our goal is to develop unique and high-quality office, hotel, and residential projects in the Budapest real estate market,’ Bálint Erdei, founder and owner of Redwood Real Estate Holding, and the developer and owner of the hotel project, said. ‘This partnership offers a fantastic opportunity to combine our local expertise with Accor’s international standards.

We are confident that this exceptional hotel, located in the heart of Budapest, will set a new benchmark for hospitality experiences in the city,’

he noted.

Pullman is Accor’s upscale international brand, aimed primarily at cosmopolitan travellers who enjoy combining work and leisure. The Pullman Budapest Hotel is part of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless lifestyle loyalty programme, which provides access to a wide range of benefits, services, and experiences.

The Hard Rock Hotel, which previously operated in the building as the chain’s first Central European hotel, officially opened in spring 2022.
