CPAC Hungary 2025 will be taking place on 29–30 May at the Budapest Congress Center, just one week from now. The confirmed speakers include famed American political commentators Ben Shapiro and Dave Rubin, as well as Member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies for the right-wing populist Vox party Santiago Abascal.

In just a week, the conservative world will turn its attention to Hungary again, as the fourth annual CPAC Hungary will be taking place on 29–30 May, hosted by the Budapest-based conservative think tank Center for Fundamental Rights. The venue this time will be the Budapest Congress Center.

Last year, we had prominent conservative voices from all around the world, such as leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) Geert Wilders, Former Prime Minister Janez Janša of Slovenia, and US Senator Markwayne Mullin from Oklahoma. The speech made by Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek at the event caused international controversy, as it was deleted by YouTube for supposed hate speech.

Ms Vlaardingerbroek will be returning to CPAC Hungary this year as well, undeterred by the censorship.

Also, just like last year, the long-reigning Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary will be giving one of the keynote speeches. When he last did so back in 2024, the event’s official motto was ‘Wokebusters — Let’s Drain the Swamp’. This year, the motto is ‘The Age of the Patriots Is Here’, a reference to one of the biggest-ever developments of conservative politics in Europe, the formation of the Patriots for Europe political group in the European Parliament, which happened in July of last year.

CPAC Hungary 2025 Confirmed Speakers

Some of the speakers of CPAC Hungary 2025 have already been announced, and there are some major names on the marquee.

Famed political commentator from the United States, Ben Shapiro, is coming. His YouTube channel boasts over 7 million subscribers, and he has been the premier American conservative voice in the online sphere for over a decade. Dave Rubin has also been running a successful conservative online show for many years—his namesake, The Rubin Report. He actually started his career in political content creation with the liberal YouTube show The Young Turks and was one of the first public figures to ‘switch sides’ in the Trump era. His video on YouTube titled ‘Why I Left the Left’ has amassed over 16 million views, outstanding for a political commentary video.

Israeli political influencer Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is also among the confirmed speakers for CPAC Hungary 2025, as is Member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies for the right-wing populist Vox party Santiago Abascal.

‘We need to make them realize that we are not a “system error”, but an opposition to the globalist system. Since its launch in 2022, CPAC Hungary has offered a global platform for anti-globalist forces. And although Brussels and its domestic compradors would have us believe that we are the minority, when I look around the world, I see the opposite.

The power of the extreme progressive neo-Marxist revolution in Western Europe is waning, and a counter-revolution of common sense is underway. And Hungary, the Hungarian right, is one of the driving forces behind this, and CPAC Hungary is the symbol of it all,’ Director-General for the Center for Fundamental Rights Miklós Szánthó told the local Komárom–Esztergom County news site Kemma.hu ahead of CPAC Hungary 2025.
