‘The Hungarian government’s position remains unchanged...we will not build a refugee camp, we will not change the way we protect our borders, and we will not become an immigrant country. We will not accept Brussels telling us who we can live with,’ Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has declared. For his stance against mass migration, he was praised by famous British activist Tommy Robinson on X.

As we reported, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary held an international press conference at the press room of his residence at the Carmelite Monastery of Buda in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday, 5 January. Balázs Orbán, the Political Director of the Prime Minister of Hungary, has shared a brief clip of the press conference, in which the Prime Minister is speaking about the EU’s Migration Pact.

‘This migration pact should have been applied from 12 June 2026,’ PM Orbán states in the video.

‘According to the Brussels decision, Hungary would have to process 23,000 applications this year. This is only possible, or would be only possible, if we were to create a residence for 10,000 people, let’s call it a “migrant camp”. The Commission has also decided that we should take in 350 people, migrants who did not apply in Hungary but in other Western European countries…The Hungarian government’s position remains unchanged: we will not accept any migrants from any Western European country, we will not build a refugee camp, we will not change the way we protect our borders, and we will not become an immigrant country. We will not accept Brussels telling us who we can live with,’ Prime Minister Orbán has declared.

This message caught the attention of famous British anti-immigration activist Tommy Robinson, who re-posted another video of the Hungarian Prime Minister speaking out against mass migration, shared by PM Orbán himself, with the caption ‘Viktor Orbán puts his people and nation first as always. The EU fines Hungary €1 million a day for refusing to open their borders to the third world. Orbán never falters!’
