Breaking Bad Star Dean Norris Visits Hungary, Shares Photos Highlighting his Hungarian Heritage

The American actor, who played drug enforcement agent Hank Schrader, the brother-in-law and nemesis of Walter White in the iconic series, posted about the family holiday on his social media accounts last week.

The 60-year-old actor posted his latest updates on Friday afternoon, which started with a selfie taken under the shadow of the Hungarian Parliament building.

The star proud of his Hungarian roots uploaded another set of photos shortly afterwards, starting with an old photo of his Hungarian grandfather, followed by pictures of a family meal in a Hungarian restaurant. According to Harvard Magazine, Dean Norris, who grew up in South Bend, Indiana, had Hungarian and Polish immigrant grandparents.

Norris also caught the afternoon protest against the controversial educators’ status law discussed in a marathon debate at Kossuth Square, where Momentum MP András Fekete-Győr even took a selfie with him, which he shared with his followers in a social media story.

Norris was raised in a working-class household by grandparents who were immigrants from Poland and Hungary. He graduated from Harvard College after attending Clay High School in South Bend and majoring in social studies there. He followed his passion for acting after college and started working in the entertainment business.

Norris has had a long career and has appeared in a lot of films and TV shows. He has played prominent parts in TV shows like Under the Dome, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Claws in addition to Breaking Bad. Additionally, he has acted in the feature films The Counselor, Little Miss Sunshine, and Total Recall.

Dean Norris is renowned for his versatility as an actor, taking on a variety of roles in different genres. He frequently accepts parts that allow him to show off his ability to portray strong leaders or people who struggle with difficult moral decisions.
