Szabolcs Janik

Szabolcs Janik is a political scientist and economist, currently conducting his PhD studies in political science at Corvinus University of Budapest. His dissertation topic and his professional interests are centred around Visegrád cooperation. Previously he worked at the Institute for Public Policy Research and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. At present, he is the deputy director of the Budapest- based Migration Research Institute, where he is engaged in analysing the economic and political consequences of contemporary migration to the EU.
