Lénárd Sándor received his JD from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, where he was granted the Fellowship of the Republic. He took the Hungarian legal bar exam in 2010. He obtained an MBA in Global Supply Chain Concentration from Canisius College (Buffalo, New York). He served as a clerk and then a deputy prosecutor of the Office of the Prosecutor General between 2006 and 2011. From 2011 to 2020, he served as a chief counsel of the Constitutional Court of Hungary. He is currently an adviser to the European Parliament. He taught international law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University between 2014 and 2020. He has been a researcher of the National University of Public Service, Budapest, since 2018. He writes extensively on international economic and human rights law, as well as comparative constitutional and competition law. He is the author of several hundred opinion and analytical articles. His latest book is entitled Constitutional Journey in the United States (MCC Press, 2021).
