Géza Sebestyén

Géza Sebestyén is a mathematician and economist, Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest and Head of the Center for Economic Policy at MCC. His main field of research is fiscal and monetary policy, with a particular focus on the Central and Eastern European region.
He completed his studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Corvinus University of Budapest, Technische Universität Braunschweig, and the University of Oxford. He has gained international teaching experience at institutions such as Munich Business School, WU Vienna, ESSCA, the World Bank, and Selye János University.
He is an active participant in economic discourse, giving interviews to both Hungarian and international media outlets (including MoneyWeek, Challenges, MTVA, and HírTV), and his articles have been published in Die Tagespost, Conflits, Portfolio, Mandiner, and Növekedés.hu.
