The latest public opinion survey from 2021 examines a wider range of V4 members’ self- and group perceptions, including pandemic topics.

The recipient countries themselves will judge whether the EU’s Strategy will be able to hider the expansion of China’s sphere of influence, or whether it is only a “too little too late” project of the lagging West. 

The agreement, which came into force on 1 October 2021, was signed by Russian Gazprom and Hungarian MVM group during Alexey Miller’s visit to Hungary, and will guarantee Hungary’s energy supply for the next fifteen years.

The 2021/22 Hungarian Presidency Programme also correlates to the emerging Korean-European dynamics of recent years.

According to Hungary’s viewpoint, due to the changing status quo in world politics, it is essential to strengthen economic relations with the Eastern major powers.

In the context of the EU foreign policy, the V4 act as an excellent role model for the Eastern Partnership (EaP), promoting its own know-how of the European integration.

Croatia’s first LNG terminal along with its connecting gas pipeline “Omišalj-Zlobin” enables to connect the Croatian national LNG transmission network both with EU and non-EU states by providing the transport of gas in the direction to Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, and Serbia and Montenegro.
