The Future of Christianity in Politics

City Councilor Thu Nguyen in Worcester, Massachusetts has been refusing to show up to meetings in person despite the urging of Mayor Joseph Petty. She claims she feels ‘unsafe’ due to the transphobia of other Council members who have misgendered her. Nguyen prefers to be referred to by the pronouns ‘they/them’.

Steve Bannon Calls Viktor Orbán the ‘Bridge Between the US and Europe’

Steve Bannon, former adviser to US President Donald Trump, praised Viktor Orbán in a recent interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. Bannon stated that the Hungarian prime minister, due to his special relationship with Trump, could serve as the bridge between the United States and the European Union over the next four years.

PM Orbán Meets with Trump, Musk at Mar-a-Lago: Alliance Still Strong

For the first time since Donald Trump’s great comeback victory in November, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary and President-elect Donald Trump of the United States have met in person at the famous Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The Prime Minister has also held talks with the world’s richest man, Elon Musk at the event. This is the third time PM Orbán has visited President Trump’s famous estate this year.

Hungarians Would Have Voted Overwhelmingly for Trump, Poll Finds

According to a compilation of polls by EuropeElects.eu, Hungarians would have backed Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 US presidential election over Democrat Kamala Harris by a massive 24-point margin. Meanwhile, the new President-elect is the least popular in Denmark, where only 4 per cent of voters would have supported him.

‘Religious extremism is on the rise in Europe’, Hungarian Government Official Says

According to the OIDAC’s 2022/2023 report, there was a 44 per cent increase in crimes against Christians in those two years. In 2022, OIDAC documented as many as 749 anti-Christian hate crimes. The report points out that there is a reasonable probability that the actual numbers are higher, due to limited reporting as a result of the crimes’ chilling effect on victims, and the lack of media coverage. OIDAC found that Christian converts of Muslim origin are particularly vulnerable to violence.
