John von Neumann Computer Society to Welcome Enthusiasts with Exciting Programmes at 2024 Researchers’ Night

As part of the Researchers’ Night, visitors are invited on 27 September 2024 to discover the evolution of programmable pocket calculators and the development of handheld computers and smartphones at the John von Neumann Computer Society’s 1200-square-metre IT museum in the Szent-Györgyi Albert Agora in Szeged. Renowned private collectors, including experts from the Arithmomuseum, will deliver presentations during the event.

Hungary Sees Increase in Employment in July 2024

In July 2024 the average number of employed persons aged 15–74 increased by 20,000 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH). On the domestic primary labour market, 4.580 million people were employed, 26,000 more than a year earlier.
