The Hungarian people were born to ride horses, and their love of horse sports is encoded in their genes. If we continue to do excellent work in every area of equestrian culture as those before us like the Andrássy family did, or contemporary enthusiasts like András Tombor do now, we can look to the future with hope.
In these times of crises, we would do well to keep in mind the ‘Seven Rules’ of Hungary’s national policy and recall: ‘Only that which we can defend is truly ours’. Family is ours and will only remain ours if we can defend it.
The rainbow coalition envisioned in the opposition party headquarters and progressive think tanks did not necessarily resonate with the wishes and expectations of the Hungarian voters.
