CPAC Hungary is set to begin in less than 24 hours, bringing together conservative thinkers, politicians, and citizens interested in patriotic politics for a two-day event in Budapest.
On Wednesday, the co-organizer, the Center for Fundamental Rights, held a press conference at the Budapest Congress Center, where Director Miklós Szánthó announced that approximately 600 international guests are expected to attend this year’s conference. The event will feature four current and four former prime ministers, eight party leaders, 11 ministers, and 25 members of parliament from around the world.
‘These figures are proof that this year’s CPAC Hungary will be the largest gathering of patriots ever,’ Szánthó declared. He added: ‘We are facing a global conspiracy, and the age of patriots has arrived—when we must provide an anti-globalist response to globalist aspirations.’

Among the invited guests are Leader of the Patriots for Europe movement Santiago Abascal and Alice Weidel, head of Germany’s sovereignist bloc and president of Alternative für Deutschland (AfD). Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is set to open the conference.
Quoting former US President Donald Trump, Szánthó stated: ‘Fight, fight, fight, and never give up.’ He added that Trump had taught conservatives the importance of perseverance and resilience. ‘We are also witnessing a show of strength in Hungary,’ he said, ‘and citizens defending their homeland cannot afford complacency. We have no choice but to resist—because Hungary is our homeland.’
President of the CPAC Foundation Matt Schlapp also spoke at the press conference. He praised Hungary as the ideal venue for the event, noting: ‘Freedom-loving people around the world are passionate about leaders like Donald Trump and Viktor Orbán.’
