According to Eurostat, the utility cost reduction in Hungary made the expenses one of the lowest in all of Europe.

In 2021, Hungary had the highest rate of solar-based electricity production in the EU, while at the same time it continues to reduce the share of lignite-based production.

Regarding the war in Hungary’s neighbourhood, Hungary’s Minister of Defence reiterated that the country’s position has been clear from the beginning: to stay out of the war and pursue Hungary’s national interests.
