In a joint press statement with the Moldovan Prime Minister, Orbán described the eight years since Moldova signed the Association Agreement with the European Union as ‘offensively long’ and expressed hope that some of the lost time may be regained by speeding up accession negotiations.

During the inauguration of the British-owned GKN Automotive Hungary Ltd. factory, the minister highlighted that the company, specializing in manufacturing automotive components, will serve BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, and Volkswagen through the newly built facility within the framework of the approximately 52-billion-forint greenfield investment.

The online survey, carried out on sample of a thousand Hungarian employees aged between 18 and 65, revealed that nine per cent of respondents have the flexibility to choose working mostly from home, with physical presence required on certain days.

Sándor Czomba stated that since 2010, the number of employed people has increased from 3.7 million to 4.7 million, thus achieving one of the government’s commitments to create one million new jobs in ten years.
