According to the latest forecast from Nielsen Gracenote in June, Hungary is expected to perform exceptionally well at the Paris Olympics: the international analysis team predicts 7 gold, 6 silver, and 10 bronze medals, placing Hungary 11th in the medal table.

The Hungarian women’s water polo team secured a 13–11 victory over Greece in the semi-finals of the Doha World Championships on Wednesday, 14 February. They will face the Olympic champion United States in the final.
