Conservative investor Nelson Peltz was trying to get new members elected to the board of directors at the 3 April shareholders meeting and thus steer the company away from their woke agenda, to no avail. The same woke board members retained their positions, to which the market, expecting a change, did not react well.

Disney sued Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for stripping them of special privileges in the Reedy Creek Improvement District, where Disney World is located. The feud between Disney and DeSantis originates from Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, which may have been inspired by Hungary’s Child Protection Act.

Governor Ron DeSantis has often been accused by the left-wing mainstream media in the US of closely emulating Hungary’s PM Viktor Orbán. However, Orbán has always shown his preference for Former President Trump. With DeSantis dropping out, are Viktor Orbán’s ideas out of the race or not?

In a liberal society, people have a right to be wrong. But that right is not unlimited…Only a few years ago, if one had said, ‘They’re coming for our children!’, one would have been denounced as a bigot and an alarmist. Now, in 2023, a gay rights march chants the same thing, proudly, in America’s cultural capital.

Famed American internet personality and political commentator Dave Rubin sat down with writer and columnist Rod Dreher, also from the US, in Budapest, Hungary to discuss the state of conservatism in their home country and Hungary. They both see Prime Minister Orbán as a good model to follow for conservatives in America, and agree that he is being misrepresented in American mainstream media.

Previously, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary voiced his support for the presumptive Republican challenger, Former President Donald Trump. Both statesmen are making the case that their preferred US Presidential candidate would be better for peace in Eastern Europe.

The 44-year-old politician, who has been frequently likened to Orbán, publicly announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination on Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C.

The successful American talk show host spoke at an event at the Danube Institute. He covered a whole slew of topics, including Trump vs DeSantis in next year’s Republican primary, why he left his left-wing politics behind, and Hungary’s child protection law.

It would be too much to say that Viktor Orbán has seen the future. But he has indeed seen the dark future that awaits all of us if the globalists, the gender ideologues, and the other servants of the woke Machine triumph. On the American scene at the moment, only Ron DeSantis shares both Orbán’s vision, and Orbán’s focus and policy skills to transform that vision into reality.

Both statesmen won their respective elections by around 19 percentage points last year, but the similarities do not end there. Their stances on immigration, the Ukraine war, and, most notably, the restriction of teaching gender theory in schools, have been very much akin to each other in the past.

In his exclusive interview with Hungarian Conservative, Mr Rufo talked about how, in his opinion, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis demonstrated that ‘courage and competence are the key elements of successful governance’ with his fight with the Disney corporation; as well as what he believes the motivation of the woke far-left activists are, and how to fight them effectively.

As part of the new cooperation agreement between the two institutions, each year four researchers from the Heritage Foundation will visit Budapest and work with the Danube Institute as visiting researchers.

Hungarian President Katalin Novák met with Ron DeSantis, the Governor of the State of Florida, on Tuesday in Tallahassee. The two discussed, among other issues, the importance of the protection of traditional values and families.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been re-elected by an unusually large margin, performing especially well among the traditionally left-leaning Hispanics. His victory shows that standing up to wokeness and corporate interests pays off and may also pave the way for his nomination in the 2024 presidential race.
