Hungary will host its first World Rallycross Championship race on 27–28 July at the Nyirád Racing Center, where the European Championship will also take place. 17 Hungarian drivers will be competing in four categories, the organizers announced on Thursday.

There were 18 fewer homicides last year in Hungary than in the previous year, with the police solving every new homicide case, and in most cases, apprehending the perpetrator within a few hours.

Norbert Baráth, the CEO of Speedwolf Sports Organization, emphasized in a press conference that such a prestigious Speedway event has not been held in Hungary since the sport’s inception.
