The Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation released an analysis regarding publishing and cultural institutions recovering after the pandemic on the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture.

The Egerszalók vineyard’s top wine, the 2018 vintage Agapé Bikavér, received the highest-ever score for a Hungarian dry red wine, 98 points, as reported by the winery’s website.

The expert speakers at the event expressed confidence that the much-talked-about plant will not be a major pollution source in the area, as there are legally mandated limits to harmful material emissions for every industrial facility. These regulations are stricter in Hungary than what’s required by the EU, as one of the panellists pointed out.
