One of the 21st century’s greatest scientific questions is whether humans have free will. This year’s Brain Bar will give special attention to this topic, with notable guest speakers such as Avi Loeb, Gerard Barron, and Lars Chittka.

Central and Eastern Europe’s largest artificial intelligence conference will be held in Budapest at the House of Music on 9–10 September. As part of the event series in City Park, not only will the House of Music take centre stage, but the internationally renowned Museum of Ethnography will also host the Media Future stage.

The second volume of the publication titled Hungarian Rock History presents the stories of prominent figures in the domestic rock music scene, including Bikini, Kontroll Csoport, KFT, Edda, Karthago, Quimby, and Kispál és a Borz, uniquely depicted in comic book format.

In the statement, it was revealed that in a public vote by the renowned international newspaper, which boasts nearly 200 million readers worldwide, the Hungarian institution realized within the Liget Budapest Project joined the ranks of eminent landmarks such as the Roman amphitheatre in Spain, Hadrian’s Wall in England, or Kronborg Castle in Denmark.

This grand exhibition, housed initially at the world’s largest museum of art and design, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, will conclude its run in its original venue in April 2024 before embarking on a travelling showcase, debuting first at the Budapest House of Music. Following Budapest, the exhibition will journey to several significant museums worldwide.

Termed the ‘Oscars of tourism,’ this accolade not only crowns the Liget Budapest Project as Europe’s most comprehensive cultural urban development but also positions it as the paramount tourism development globally.
