‘Green energy production, storage, utilization, and recycling: this is how the green economy is built, of which Hungary is a leader in the world, not a follower’, Government Commissioner László György stated in Debrecen, encouraging citizens to fill in the green energy consultation questionnaire.

At a press conference titled Park City or Rákosdubai, Budapest Mayor Gergely Karácsony stated that in April they will launch a month-long online voting process where every Budapest resident over the age of 14 with a registered address can express their views on the investment plans for Rákosrendező.

Citizen can submit their responses to questions related to 13 important issues ranging from solar panels to reducing utility bills to electromobility.

István György emphasized the importance of personal encounters between the government and citizens, underscoring the significance of the newly inaugurated government service centre, which marks the 314th such institution nationwide.

A trial period for the app will start in April with the involvement of several tens of thousands of users, and will be launched for citizens across the board in September. From that time on, citizens will be able to use the DÁP app for identification if requested by police, submitting applications to authorities for certificates or for any other interactions with the state administration.

The Hazaváró (Welcoming Home) offices will offer not only information but also streamline various administrative processes for returnees, including matters related to pension payments, degree recognition, starting a business, and processing tax and residence card-related issues.

Máté Kocsis wrote on Facebook: ‘Hungary is a committed member of NATO and the European Union, so we will do everything in our power to promote and maintain peace, and the Finnish people can count on us in this regard. We Hungarians have a special historical friendship with Finland, our allies.’
