The brand new modern racetrack at Lake Balaton is ready to host any motorsport event except for Formula 1 and MotoGP races.

Norbert Michelisz, who won the World Cup in 2019, had still not received any information about his fate until early April, but Hyundai finally broke the silence in their official statement released on 11 April, confirming that Michelisz will continue with the team.

The government supports the planned development works of Hungaroring in Mogyoród, and according to preliminary plans, the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix will be held in the completely renovated facility.
