One of the 21st century’s greatest scientific questions is whether humans have free will. This year’s Brain Bar will give special attention to this topic, with notable guest speakers such as Avi Loeb, Gerard Barron, and Lars Chittka.

‘What’s particularly concerning is that our chances of detecting AI are getting slimmer. There’s already more content generated by AI than humans on the internet…This means that we will have to truly define for ourselves, what is ‘human’ anyway? This may well be the most important question of our time.’

Speaking at Brain Bar 2023, Hungarian Defence Minister Szalay-Bobrovniczky argued that as long as there is an open armed conflict in Ukraine, the chances of an escalation of the war are extremely high.
