According to the minister’s briefing, this brings the total amount of EU funds allocated to Hungary in the past days to a substantial 470 billion forints. Last Thursday witnessed a transfer of €779.5 million (equivalent to 300 billion forints) from the recovery funds.

István György emphasized the importance of personal encounters between the government and citizens, underscoring the significance of the newly inaugurated government service centre, which marks the 314th such institution nationwide.

At the inauguration ceremony of the new unit at the Dunaharaszti plant of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó highlighted that US companies now constitute the second largest community of investors in Hungary.

According to the Ministry’s statement, Minister Szijjártó spoke up during a meeting following the EU Foreign Affairs Council on the proposals regarding security guarantees for Ukraine. These proposals could provide €20 billion of support for arms shipments and the deployment of a training mission in Ukraine over the next four years.

Government Commissioner for the Development of Modern Settlements Alpár Gyopáros stated that when the programme started, village medical practice premises and their medical equipment were outdated, and there was a shortage of general practitioners in rural areas. Along with the renovation of surgeries, their entire equipment was modernised at 1700 locations, and to reduce the shortage of general practitioners, the government launched a programme for medical housing as well.

Government Commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements Alpár Gyopáros underscored that the government has carried out over two thousand development projects related to healthcare services, including the renovation and construction of outpatient clinics, the replacement of medical equipment, and the creation of housing for physicians and midwives under the framework of the Hungarian Village Programme.

A report recently released by the Hungarian Information Centre points out that despite all denials, the election campaign of the opposition parties was funded by sources coming from the American Left. Moreover, the overseas Democratic elite, led by George Soros, had direct ownership influence over the company DatAdat, which managed the campaign.

For the seventh consecutive year, the company maintained a leading position in Hungary’s new car sales, achieving a market share of nearly 12.5 per cent with approximately 14,000 registered new cars in 2022. This means that every eighth new car in the country bore the Suzuki logo.
