An FBI special agent has revealed that Thomas Matthew Crooks had been studying previous assassination attempts, including the one on US President John F. Kennedy and the recent one on Prime Minister Robert Fico of Slovakia, leading up to his effort to take the life of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania earlier this month.
The news of the assassination attempt against former US President Donald Trump had barely reached Hungary before hateful comments calling for the death of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán appeared in the comments sections of liberal media. ‘The vast majority of Americans and various politicians, whether Democrat or Republican, have come out in support of Trump. According to Szani, the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump has united America in a way that has not been seen in a long time. However, he believes this unity will not last long with the elections approaching.

According to SMER-SD MP Erik Kaliňák, Robert Fico was shot five times in the small intestine, but the Slovak PM’s condition is improving day by day. Fico was shot on 15 May; the shooter was identified as a 71-year-old poet whose attack on the prime minister was clearly politically motivated.
Count István Tisza is still blamed by liberal and left-wing historiographers for Hungary entering WWI, despite clear evidence of his anti-war stance. It is rather anachronistic to hold Tisza to democratic standards that did not exist at the time and with the wisdom of hindsight: the knowledge of how the war ended.
