During the excavations, experts uncovered and collected a significant quantity of human bones, finding intact or partially preserved skeletons in 18 sections.

The recent article by Máté Sibrányi and Gábor Virágos in the Kommentár magazine outlines the importance of preserving our architectural heritage, and charting more of our church ruins. According to the authors, these ruins are part of our Christian heritage, and therefore deserve more attention.

The so-called ‘kurgan’ is dated from the Bronze Age period. Reconstruction efforts have just started to preserve the invaluable relic from the ancient past.
